Immediate care when you need it most

Dental emergencies can happen at any time, often when dental offices are closed. Whether it's sudden pain, a knocked-out tooth, or unexpected swelling, prompt attention is essential to protect your smile and prevent further damage.

If you are facing a dental emergency, don't wait. Contact us immediately so our team can guide you and arrange the necessary treatment as quickly as possible.

How to recognize a dental emergency

Not all dental problems require immediate attention, but some symptoms should never be ignored. If you experience any of the following symptoms, consult a dentist immediately:

  • Intense pain that over-the-counter medications do not relieve
  • Continuous or heavy bleeding from the mouth
  • A violent blow or trauma to the teeth, jaw or mouth
  • Noticeable swelling on your face or inside your mouth
  • Loose, fractured or knocked-out teeth

In case of serious trauma, head injury or uncontrolled bleeding, please call emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

What to do in case of a dental emergency

Here are some steps you can take before consulting a professional in an emergency:

  • Toothache: This could be due to an infection or injury. Use over-the-counter pain relievers if needed and contact us immediately to identify the cause and obtain treatment.
  • Chipped or cracked tooth: If you are not experiencing pain, make an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible. In case of a severe fracture, apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and avoid chewing on the affected side.
  • Loose tooth: Try gently repositioning the tooth without forcing it and bite down gently to hold it in place until you can see your dentist.
  • Tooth pulled out: Handle the tooth carefully by the crown, not the root. If you are unable to put it back in its socket, moisten it with milk or saliva and call us immediately.
