Training details

  • Format : theoretical training offered online lasting 6 weeks (150 to 200 hours in total depending on the pace of learning) including 80 hours of theory in the form of videos, 31 summary quizzes and 3 exams.
  • The goal : to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge to become an auxiliary dental assistant in dental clinics and specialized clinics (orthodontist, endodontist, prosthodontist, periodontist, pedodontist, etc.).
  • Cost Two payments of $299 each. The first payment is due upon registration, and the second will be automatically debited the following month. Payment is processed online via Stripe.

Choosing this training program means acquiring the following skills:

  • sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment in the clinic and perform various tasks associated with hygiene and asepsis procedures;
  • record information relating to patient care and perform certain basic administrative functions;
  • perform tasks related to prevention and assist in treatment planning;
  • perform certain tasks related to the dental laboratory;
  • to provide postoperative advice on care, oral hygiene and preventive dentistry to adopt;

Distinctives features

  • At the end of the training, some candidates may be offered practical training in the form of an internship and a position in one of the five REMA Dentists dental clinics;
  • Candidates not selected by REMA Dentists who have completed the theoretical training will be responsible for finding an internship in a dental clinic in order to put into practice the theoretical knowledge learned during the online training offered by REMA Dentists.
  • The training offered by REMA Dentists is not recognized by the Ministry of Education.
